At GoFixit, we value our customers and service providers and strive to ensure every booking made through our platform meets high-quality standards. This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds may be issued for services booked and paid for through the GoFixit App or Website.
2.1 Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds for booked services will only be considered if:
The cancellation is made in accordance with our Cancellation Policy;
The service provider fails to arrive or does not complete the service as agreed; or
There is verified evidence of unsatisfactory or incomplete work, following an internal review by the GoFixit support team.
2.2 Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued if:
The customer is unsatisfied with pricing after the service has been completed;
The issue arises from incorrect information or miscommunication provided by the customer;
The customer or anyone on-site prevents the service provider from completing the work.
2.3 Processing Time
Once a refund is approved, it will be processed within 7 business days and credited back to the original payment method used via Paystack.
Service providers may be eligible for refunds or commission reversals only in the following cases:
Duplicate or erroneous transactions on the platform; or
Verified system or processing errors on GoFixit’s side.
Refunds related to commission deductions will be reviewed by the GoFixit team and processed within 7 business days if approved.
If a dispute arises between a customer and a service provider regarding service quality or payment, GoFixit will act as a neutral mediator. Refunds will only be granted once an internal investigation is completed, and GoFixit’s decision will be final.
GoFixit reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will take effect immediately upon being posted on our website or mobile app. We encourage users to review this policy regularly to stay informed of any updates.
